This page lists every cookie and browser-storage key km-translation.com actually uses, what each one does, and how to change your choice at any time.

How consent works here

When you first visit, a banner asks you to Accept all, allow Necessary only, or Manage preferences. Non-essential cookies are never set before you choose. Nothing is pre-ticked, and rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting. Change your choice at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

The cookies and storage keys we use

km_consent (Necessary) — remembers your cookie choice, so we don't ask again every visit. 12 months. Set always, once you make a choice.

km_cart (Necessary/functional) — keeps items in your cart between pages and visits. Until you empty your cart or clear browser storage. Always set (core to the site's function).

km_checkout (Necessary, session) — holds your progress through the checkout steps during a single visit. Session only. Set when you enter checkout.

_ga, _ga_* (Analytics) — Google Analytics 4, helps us see which pages are used, in aggregate. Up to 14 months (Google's default). Only after you accept analytics cookies.

What we don't use

We don't use advertising or retargeting cookies, and we don't share cookie data with any advertising network. We don't use social-media tracking pixels.

Analytics in detail

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage. Analytics only runs after your explicit consent; before that, no Google Analytics script is loaded at all. Withdraw consent at any time via Cookie settings, which stops future analytics collection.

Managing your choice

Use the Cookie settings link in the footer, on any page, at any time, to see or change what's enabled. You can also clear cookies and site data through your browser's own settings, though this will also clear your cart.
