WHAT MOVES THE PRICE
Four things move a price on this site: the language pair (a small set of pairs beyond Norwegian and English carry a premium — ask if yours isn't listed), the volume or size band you order, whether you choose standard or express turnaround (+50%), and — for certified work only — whether you add notarisation, apostille handling or a hard copy.
All prices shown are gross, including 25% Norwegian MVA; the net figure and the MVA amount are itemised at checkout.
A quote, when you need one instead, adds nothing hidden — it's simply how we price work that doesn't fit a standard band: over 2,000 words, an unusual file format, an ongoing volume arrangement, or interpreting equipment needs.

Pricing FAQ
Why is certified translation priced per page and everything else per word or minute?
Certified documents are conventionally priced per page because that's how receiving institutions and the notarisation process think about them. Word-band pricing suits most other document translation because it scales cleanly with length; interpreting is priced by time because that's what you're actually booking; subtitling and transcription are priced by minute of media because that's what determines the work, not the word count of the eventual transcript.
What if my job is bigger than the largest band?
Use the quote request instead — pre-select the service and tell us the size, and we'll reply within 2 working hours during office hours with a scoped price.
Is MVA included in the price shown?
Yes — every price on this site is shown gross, including 25% Norwegian MVA. The net amount and the MVA component are itemised separately at checkout.
Do prices differ by language pair?
The published rates cover our core pairs, led by Norwegian and English. A smaller set of additional pairs may carry a premium — ask via the quote form if yours isn't listed on /languages.
