Ordering & pricing

Do I need to request a quote, or can I just order?

For nine of our ten services, you see the price and order directly — no form, no waiting. Certified, legal, medical, technical, financial, marketing, localization, subtitling and proofreading work all sell at a published price for standard-sized jobs. Only genuinely non-standard work — over 2,000 words, an unusual file format, an ongoing volume contract — needs a scoped quote, and we reply to those within 2 working hours during office hours.

Is MVA included?

Yes — every price shown is gross, including 25% MVA. The net amount is itemised at checkout.

What's the minimum order?

kr 590 on any single order, regardless of service or size.

Can I pay by invoice?

Yes — choose 'Pay on invoice (EHF/e-faktura)' at checkout if you're ordering as a company. Private individuals pay by card at checkout.

Certified & legal documents

Will a certified translation be accepted by the institution I'm submitting to?

Our attestation confirms the translation is complete and accurate, prepared by an authorised translator from our vetted network — what most Norwegian and international institutions ask for. Requirements vary by institution, so check any specific checklist you've been given, or ask us before ordering.

What's the difference between certified, notarised and apostilled?

Certified/attested means a qualified translator confirms in writing that the translation is complete and accurate. Notarisation adds a notary's confirmation of the translator's signature. An apostille is a further layer of authentication for documents crossing certain borders. Most UDI and university submissions need certified only.

Is legal translation confidential?

Yes — a mutual NDA is available on request at no cost, and every linguist signs a confidentiality undertaking before seeing your file.

Process & turnaround

How long does a standard order take?

It depends on the service and size — see the turnaround table on each service page or the full table on /pricing. Certified work runs 2–3 working days; most word-band translation runs from 24 hours to 5 working days; interpreting bookings are confirmed by the next working day.

Can I pay for express and get it faster?

Yes, on every service except interpreting (which is timed by availability, not production speed) — express adds 50% to the price and roughly halves the standard timeline.

What happens after I place an order?

You get an order confirmation with a reference number. We assign a translator, translate, independently revise, then deliver by email on the timeline shown at checkout.

Confidentiality & data

What happens to my document afterwards?

It's handled under GDPR from the moment it reaches us. A mutual NDA is available on request at no extra cost, and we delete source files 90 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep them for a follow-up.

Can I get an NDA before sending sensitive files?

Yes — a mutual NDA is available on request at no cost. Ask before you send anything if you'd like one in place first.

How is my personal data used?

Only to process your order and respond to your enquiry — name, email, phone, and postal address where a physical delivery is involved. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
